OUR VISION

PASSION VERSE

20 “It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation.  21 Rather, as it is written: “Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand.”  22 This is why I have often been hindered from coming to you.”

Romans 15:20–22 (NIV)

OUR VISION
NARATIVE

Our current burden:

Winning souls and church growth – what do we need to do to win souls?

We see a church…

    • We will create lunch and hygiene packs for kids and the homeless each Fall.

    • Current Goal: 500 Hygiene Packs and 500 Lunch Packs

... who develops leaders who will carry ministry weight and responsibility.

  • We will develop at least three leaders per area of ministry through a leadership training group starting on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 6:30pm

... who weekly provides an environment where people walk away saying, “I met with God today.”

  • Worship: By the end of November 2022 we will have developed a fresh excitement about our worship experience.

  • Preaching: By the end of November, we will have in place a “Deep Dive” team who will assist Pastor Ricardo in the creation of connection and application of life through scripture (Discovering the needs of the people).

  • Kids/Youth: Each environment will develop mission critical initiatives that provide practical ways to build excitement about Jesus, the church and their groups.

... who is known by its community through branding, social media, and intentional connection with guests.

  • Social Media: Using all SM platforms, we will expand our presence and value in SM by more frequent posts, value add posts by all team members, boosting when possible and affordable.

  • Signage: Will create a sign plan and budget for all signs that will allow JCV to be fully visible to the community by the end of October and implemented by 12/31/22.

  • Vehicle window stickers (September 25 distribution)

  • “Plan My Visit” Initiative: First time guests can plan their first visit online and our FTG team will be ready to host. (October 30 launch)

We see a church who is effectively connecting with people.
